They have never met each other. Some
have never travelled beyond their native village.
They all belong to statistically average
families in their localities.
Five girls and three boys: ages ranging
from 8 to 16 years. All are living in coastal areas
of India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Each family
was hit by the Asian tsunami in one way or another.
Now, as they cope with personal tragedy
and many challenges of rebuilding, the Children of Tsunami
let us into their lives and tell us their stories.
