Director
Pipope is a senior producer at Nation
Broadcasting Corporation, Thailand’s 24-hour
cable news station. For the past 10 years, he has produced
documentary and news features for Thai television as
well as non profit organisations. His latest documentary
work, Peace
in the Flames of War, was screened in Bangkok
World Film 2004.
Pipope also has an interest in giving
video training to young children in rural Thailand as
part of Young Environmental TV Journalist Programme.

 Jarupa
Panitchpakdi
Researcher and production assistant
Jarupa is an independent researcher.
She is currently finishing her doctoral degree in Integrated
Science at Thammasat
University, Thailand. Her dissertation work is about
representation of women in Thai television dramas. She
has also integrated a documentary filming approach into
her research work.
Jarupa is originally from Takuapa,
Phang Nga province, an area in Thailand hardest hit
by the Tsunmai in Thailand. She currently plans to work
on a long-term recovery project in her home town.

 Thananuch
Sanguansak
Photographer
Thananuch is a full time television
reporter at Nation
Broadcasting Corporation. She also works as a freelance
photojournalist. Her special interest is in photographing
lives of Thailand’s villagers.
Besides the Children of Tsunami project,
Thananuch is currently working on a photo-essay book
on Thai Muslim women in Thailand’s troubled southern
provinces.
