Suren has been involved in the Sri
Lankan Television and Film industry for over 20 years,
starting as an editor and later a cameraman and director.
He set up Video
Image in 1993 and the company has grown from humble
beginnings to become Sri Lanka's largest producer of
TV commercials, documentary films and corporate films.
It is the only production company in Sri Lanka that
is fully equipped with state of the art edit suits,
sound studio, graphics suites, 35mm cameras and HMI
lighting, and is supported by a highly qualified team
of professionals.
Suren was Sri Lanka correspondent
for APTV and APTN
from 1994 to 1999, and was responsible for the introduction
of 35mm film to the local TV Commercial industry which
has now become an industry standard. He is responsible
for directing over 2,500 commercials and programmes.
